Isaac Mamaysky is a partner in Potomac Law Group, the chief compliance officer of QuantStreet Capital, an adjunct professor of Law at Albany Law School, and a co-founder and director of CZ Wellness Group, Inc.
At Potomac Law Group, one of the fastest growing corporate law firms in the country, Isaac provides strategic corporate, securities, and employment law guidance to management teams and in-house attorneys across industries. His clients include financial services providers, large corporations, private funds, registered investment advisers, and closely held companies.
As chief compliance officer of QuantStreet Capital, a New York Registered Investment Adviser, Isaac provides advice and counsel regarding state and federal laws concerning the regulation of investment advisers. He holds a Series 65 license and is a founding member of Potomac Law Group’s Investment Advisers, Asset Managers & Private Funds Practice.
In addition to his practice, Isaac teaches at Albany Law School, where his classes focus on the intersection of ethics and compliance and employment law. He has published numerous articles concerning corporate, securities, and employment law matters, including in the: Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance; the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law; the UC Davis Business Law Journal; the Santa Clara Law Review; the Washburn Law Journal; the Loyola Chicago School of Law Journal of Regulatory Compliance; the ABA Journal of Labor and Employment Law; and many other publications. He also authored the book Letter to a One L Friend for Carolina Academic Press, which helps students navigate the challenges of law school.
Beyond law and compliance, Isaac has spent much of the past decade managing a large 501(c)(3) nonprofit, CZ Wellness Group, which he and his wife cofounded in 2012. The organization operates Camp Zeke and the Block and Hexter Retreat Center, both of which focus on celebrating healthy, active living through fitness, cooking, sports, and arts. Isaac regularly speaks about legal matters at American Camp Association conferences and events, and especially enjoys representing day camps, overnight camps, and camp industry associations.
