About:

Christine Moriarty

Christine has coached and guided thousands of individuals and business owners to create financial peace of mind over the past 25 years. An award-winning Certified Financial Planner®, author, and speaker, Christine combines her deep financial expertise with compassion and inner wisdom to guide people in becoming aware of the intersection of emotions, behavior, and money. Often referred to as the “cash counselor” or “financial therapist” by her clients, Christine’s holistic approach to financial management leads to improved money relationships and quality of life.

Her sage wisdom has been featured through interviews and articles in media outlets, including CNBC, MarketWatch, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Smart Money, Boston Herald, The Boston Globe, and Better Homes and Gardens. Christine is a highly sought-after speaker for professional financial conferences. She appears regularly as an expert guest on her local CBS affiliate and has been a radio call-in host. Christine earned her BS in Finance from the University of Vermont, an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, and completed coursework in real estate, employee benefits, and human resources, as well as philosophy and education.

The heart and soul of her work is to connect people with themselves and, when needed, help them understand and heal deep emotional issues around money. Realizing early on that “people spend their emotions,” Christine guides her clients to dig deeper into the motivations of financial decision-making. She has created a deeply personal and practical approach to life’s financial journey.

Author of Creating Your MoneyPeace: Your Road to Financial Health & Stability, Christine has published numerous articles in the financial press (https://www.moneypeace.com/articles). Her writing is an outgrowth of meetings with over a thousand clients—individuals, couples, small business owners, corporate professionals, and retirees.

In addition to her work at MoneyPeace, Ms. Moriarty serves on the Board of Directors at Cooperative Insurance Companies, volunteers at Vermont Adaptive as a ski coach, and delights in sitting down with a cup of Irish tea and a good book. She is living her dreams by residing in the Green Mountains and can be reached through her website at www.MoneyPeace.com
